The spokesman of the government of Sierra Leone have threatened to kill the leader of Sierra Leone main opposition party, the Alliance Democratic Party (ADP) and others for calling on NEC to the announce the next election date.
On an interview aired on local radio station, the information minister said “this will be the last protest the leader of ADP, Kamarainba will ever plan or take part in a protest in Sierra Leone. Adding he will make sure he get him kill this time around if he show up for his planned protest scheduled for Thursday (2/23/2017).
The former political bag carrier turn political kolonko, deadbeat dad, 419er has also described the protest as “illegal and will do everything within his power make Mohamed K Mansaray paid with his life”.
“The protest is illegal and uncalled for and the leaders of the planned protest will not live to tell their story. We are not going to allow anybody especially Kamarainba to cause a breakdown of law and order here. The government will not tolerate any act of anarchy anywhere in Sierra Leone,” he added.
The misinformation minister also warned those who planned such protest to retrace their steps to avoid ugly consequences.
The ADP leader has declared the 23rd of February a protest day against the NEC for delaying to announced the date for national election. It also called for the other opposition parties and none political actors to join him. We are now waiting to see if the information minister will carry on with his killing threats.
