SIERRA LEONE: APC GOVERNMENT CONTINUE TO WASTE TAX PAYERS MONEY

What’s the essence of setting up a government monitoring team to determine factors surrounding the perpetual failure of government MDA’s? If these MDA’s has an existing Performance Contract between them and the government, why our government need to set up any monitoring team to check their excesses, why not use their “Performance Contract” agreement reports to check their incompetencies or failures? Is this not a clear indication to the people of Sierra Leone that the government is using an outdated “Performance Contract” System to determine the progress of these MDA’s hence the outright failure? Why has this government failed to change its outdated “Performance Contract” to “Performance Outcome” judging from the fact that the international benchmarks assessment team is using the later to determine a country’s progress? Why after eight years in governance now going to nine years our current government is still talking about fixing the excesses of these MDA’s instead of telling us about the outcome of these MDA’s in concretely addressing the purposes for which they were set up for?
Those of you writing or sharing articles of this government keep on exposing the rots within this government with its plenty deceitful tricks against the people especially when you keep on twisting the facts behind the inefficiencies of this very government of ours. And to make matters worse you fall within the bracket of public enemies number one. You’re deliberately sabotaging the APC government with sycophantic write ups to amass dirty wealth at the expense of the ordinary people. Because this is what the current system is set for, they don’t want real men, they’re not safe, all they want are bootlickers with committed efforts to share hypocrisy and unpatriotic acts. Such actions are tantamount to Anti Party activities, but because you’re stooges of a regime that’s not in power to lead but to rogue its people, you’re allow to get away with your unpatriotic acts. You guys are far worse than Foday Sankoh.
The truth is this government can’t lead they’re busy exploiting the people in both fronts with an intention to satisfy their greedy desires. After scores of very deceitful articles from the government claiming that this government is on track with its internationals benchmarks now you are going back eating your own very words that the government blatantly fail to reach the very international benchmarks you were propagating. With a combination of shameless actions, the very act of this government to set up a monitoring team to unearth the factors responsible behind its failure in meeting its international benchmarks is just a continuation of the normal duplication of functions by this government, it further spreads how determine this government is to keep on using tax payers monies unwisely. As the recommendations mentioned in the Auditor General Report sum the whole issue neatly.
Government is not all about telling the people lies and avoid your basic responsibilities. This was the same madness in the irresponsible austerity declaration after they’ve embezzled the people s money. This government don’t have a plan for Sierra Leone to build a stronger economy and allow citizens to make the most of the opportunities they provide. It’s preposterous for a government to declare austerity or talk about setting up a monitoring team when they have a well efficient Auditor General Report in their hands, which to date, they deliberately fail to implement its recommendations at least in the interest of all Sierra Leoneans. To say we can fix our economy by declaring austerity measures instead of chasing back unexplained wealth and responsibly use the laws of the land to strengthen our democratic structures is just a fallacy just like in the seventeenth century when austerity was declared to fix bad economies around the globe. Our economy can only be fix with a clean headed economic thinking plus intelligence that will increase production and cut down our public debt.
We want a strong and accountable government which he people can hold responsible by their obligations to the State, not a government that can promote wrongs in sectors of our democratic structures. We want a government whose officials can be more responsible in actions and in spirit by living up to the acceptable standards of democracy that keep on changing other nations around the globe concretely. This government fail us completely in terms of producing a better society. And for electing potential leaders, its Incredibly significant to first of all understand the behavioural DNA of Sierra Leone politicians and hope to kind of understand the true motive of our politicians when they join politics.
With these types of politicians, can we use our current politicians to turn round our past dark and dangerous history? If we are to realise this goal we need not to be sleeping and walking at the same time. So it’s a question of responsibility and reality to represent Sierra Leone with a new challenge. We need to prepare ourselves for the moment and challenge decade conditions that keep sending us backward. As the primary role of a decent society is to act as a watchdog and hold people, government and companies to account for their actions responsibly. However, this can still be done without the risk of defamation.
