Sierra Leone’s High Commissioner to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Ambassador Haja Afsatu Kabba on Friday 30th September 2016 took active part in the opening session of the ECOWAS Court of Justice in Abuja together with her colleague heads of missions, diplomatic community representatives from various countries in Nigeria and ECOWAS members of Parliament.
His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria performed the formal ceremony at the Abuja Central Mosque which was full with capacity.
The opening ceremony of the ECOWAS Court of Justice coincided with celebrations marking Nigeria’s 56th Independence Anniversary,
Incidentally, on that day, Ambassador Haja Afsatu Kabba met with her sister head of the Federation of Muslim Women Association in Nigeria (FOMWAN), Amira Amina.
Ambassador Haja Afsatu Kabba is a founder member of the Federation of Muslim Women Association in Sierra Leone (FOMWASAL) and 1st. Deputy Secretary General under the leadership of Haja Isha Lemu.
