Following spontaneous youth violence and riotous conduct across the country, Ibrahim Yusuf ‘Beloz’ Bangura Esq has called for calm.
Lawyer Bangura condemned all forms of violence and called on the youth to believe in round table discussions rather than riots.
He made this honest request in an exclusive interview on Tuesday 30th. August, 2016 with Tumac Radio in his office at State House in Freetown.
‘Beloz’ as he is commonly called is the Legal Adviser to the chief of Staff at State House.
Lawyer Bangura also called on the police to be more professional in quelling youths violence.
Over years, youth and police fracas have been so rampant and most recently in Moyamba and Kabala that resulted in the death of two young people, several injured and houses and property destroyed.
“I know there are many issues affecting young people in Sierra Leone but violence and riotous conduct is not an answer to such problems” Lawyer Bangura stated.
He furthered that President Koroma on several platforms has reiterated his commitment to addressing youth issues. “President has manifested his commitment in empowering the youth, that is why he created the National Youth commission and dedicated Youth Ministry” he noted.
